Sala Prabang Hotel is a fifteen minute drive from the Luang Prabang International Airport. The airport transfer desk is located at the exit of the airport terminal.
Exquisitely renovated in 2002 by its owner architect, Sinlasone Soumpholphakdy, Sala Prabang is one of the finest examples of Luang Prabang Colonial Architecture. The Villa and the Cottage were the former residence of the first Prime Minister of Laos and later it was named as a protected structure when Luang Prabang was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1995.
There are forty nine rooms, which have been individually designed in the spirit of colonial elegance and feature a subtle blend of traditional and contemporary styles. Rooms offer natural stone and earthy lime washed walls, hardwood flooring dating back to 19th Century, and locally handcrafted furniture.

Sala Prabang comprises of forty nine rooms spread out within seven individual two storied buildings. Lattana: This World Heritage French Colonial Duplex was faithfully restored to its former glory boasting elegant rooms with colonial furniture and original hardwood floor.
Chalinee: This is a Classic World Heritage Luang Prabang styled Villa looking over the Mekong River.
Issada: World Heritage Lao Residence next to the National Museum (Former Royal Palace).
Vanida: Another World Heritage Lao Residence located right opposite the known Wat Choumkhong and Wat Xiengmoune temples.
